Ukraine expels Czech diplomats
Two Czech military attaches were expelled from Ukraine on Friday amid allegations of spying.
The Czech charge d’affaires in Kiev was summoned by the Ukraine Foreign Ministry and informed of the decision. Official protest was made that the pair abused their diplomatic status to allegedly compile information in connection with Ukrainian aircraft.
Though hopes were expressed that the incident would not sully relations, the Ukraine government also expressed its desire that such activities would not be repeated.
