Wenger: Rosicky fit to play after mild concussion
Injury worries for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger over Czech playmaker Tomas Rosicky have been put to rest as the manager announces that Rosicky is fit to play.
Rosicky had to leave the pitch with an injury after being whacked with en elbow to the head in the FA Cup tie against Leyton Orient, in a match that saw Arsenal thrash the lower league team 5-0. Wenger explained that Rosicky had suffered mild concussion, but that now he was okay.
Now Arsenal have to face Sunderland in a league tie on Saturday before taking on the mighty Barcelona on Tuesday’s Champions League second leg match.
